BlackJoy (archival print)

SKU: N/A Category:

The heightened and persistent sense of fear and anxiety that accompanies a loss of trust, safety, or power, creates a toxic emotional climate with documented health implications. This climate is compounded by everyday microaggressions and stressors. In this context, Black Joy stretches beyond mere casual happenstance. It’s an act of political protest; holding the line between life and death.

Museum-quality archival posters printed on thick, durable, acid-free matte paper.

Printed in America, sweatshop free.

We are so excited to have this piece in our space! It brings automatic joy to anyone who sees it. Most of the people who come through our space are black people, many of whom are homeless, and this lights people up and gives inspiration. If we could we would have a mural of it covering a full wall. More black joy, more black women’s joy.
